造型介於尿壺與睪丸之間的混合器物。
參照《毛澤東私人醫生回憶錄》中關於其隱睪症的描述,我將生理缺陷轉化為一種陶瓷語言。外部施以帶有皮膚皺褶質感的釉色,內部則以潔白釉面配上鮮紅邊框,挪用了「文革瓷」的經典視覺符號。
透過將政治符號與排泄、生殖功能的器物結合,試圖在物質層面上消解領袖的完美神話,以及權力結構中的陽具崇拜。
The work references The Private Life of Chairman Mao and notes his problem with cryptorchidism. The form is a mix of a urinal and a testicle, it has a vague function or symbolism. The outer glaze is skin-colored, the surface has a wrinkled texture like a testicle. Inside the glaze is white and the border is bright red to match the "Cultural Revolution porcelain" style. The work uses Mao's physical features and political signs, it highlights his body flaws. This dissolves phallic worship and the sacredness of his political rank.
